MIKE Mine Release Note (July 24, 2025)

We’re excited to share the latest updates to Data Management, the Reconciliation, Dashboard, Result, and Well Manager App!

This release includes bug fixes, feature enhancements, and usability improvements to make your experience smoother and more reliable.

What's new?

August 5 Update: Additional updates/Hotfixes deployed. Additional hotfixes are marked "Hotfix" in italic in the following list.

Data Management

Improvements

  • Workspace owners can now add and edit asset types on the Asset Management page, making asset management more efficient and no longer limited to tenant administrators.
  • Timeseries charts in View Timeseries now default to a line display for better performance and easier analysis. Users can switch to points view if needed.
  • Better detection of coordinate systems in projection files when uploading shapefiles, reducing upload errors. Coordinate systems in .prj files can now be written in styles such as “UTM_32”, “utm 32”, “UTM 32N”, etc.

Bug Fixes

  • Renaming an asset on the Asset Management page now automatically updates the Timeseries page; existing asset relations stay intact.
  • The reference units file (which guides users on correct parameter units) now downloads properly from all relevant pages.
  • Uploaded timeseries values now round decimals as expected—for example, 3501.051352 → 3501.05—while very small values like 0.00534 remain unrounded for precision.
  • Uploading a missing asset that already has timeseries data now correctly updates the asset relation on the Timeseries page, avoiding broken links.
  • Changing a threshold now affects only the selected timeseries row; other thresholds with the same name remain unchanged.
  • CSV uploads for thresholds now apply updates correctly even after manual edits.
  • “Missing asset” errors are resolved when uploading timeseries for existing assets, making data uploads smoother.

Reconciliation App

Bug Fixes

  • Map icons now appear crisper and clearer at all zoom levels.
  • Water‑table results now display beneath the time slider for easier viewing.
  • Model domain now renders as an unfilled line instead of a filled polygon, improving map readability.
  • Threshold lines now display properly on bar charts when thresholds are activated.
  • The mismatch between MODFLOW model domain and model mesh is fixed; the domain polygon now fits the actual mesh area.
  • Hotfix: Conductivity, Porosity, and other results now display as expected when switched on in Reconciliation App.
  • Hotfix: Model domain line now appears more solid with higher contrast on the map for improved visibility.

Dashboard App

Improvements

  • Users can now save threshold selections for future sessions.
  • Threshold values are no longer rounded (e.g., 0.5 stays 0.5), ensuring accurate threshold lines on graphs in both Dashboard and Reconciliation apps.
  • Hotfix: Timeseries values on Dashboard are now rounded to two decimal places for more accurate display on the timeseries charts.

Result App

Bug Fixes

  • Cross‑section progress notifications, previously missing, now appear as expected, keeping users informed of image‑generation progress.
  • The “Elevation” result now shows only when data are available, avoiding confusion.
  • Hotfix: Cross section progress notifications now appear as expected, keeping users informed of image generation process.
  • Hotfix: Conductivity result now displays in the correct location under model mesh, with the correct orientation in the Result App.
  • Hotfix: Well icons for Observation Well, Multilayer Well, and Pumping Well now show correctly on the map when switched on.

Well Manager App

Bug Fixes

  • The Execute Model page now correctly shows the total number of wells for MODFLOW model scenarios.
  • Pumping rates on the Scenario page now display correctly for wells under MODFLOW models.
  • Hotfix: Well icons for Observation Well, Multilayer Well, and Pumping Well now show correctly on the map when switched on.

General improvements

  • All maps are updated to show the option to switch on 3D terrain for easier map navigation in 3D view.
