MIKE Mesh Builder Release Note (2 February 2026)

The highlight of this release is a new option to re-triangulate when adding or deleting nodes from a mesh. There is also one bug fix.

Adding mesh nodes: Re-triangulate option

When adding a node to a mesh during an editing session, it's now possible to select a re-triangulate option.

Switch for activating re-triangulation

If selected, the new option will delete the element faces surrounding the new node and then connect the new node to the adjoining nodes.

Deleting mesh nodes: Re-triangulate option

When deleting a node to a mesh during an editing session, the new re-triangulate option will create new element faces connecting the nodes surrounding the deleted node.
