MIKE Metocean Simulator Release Note (13 June 2025)¶

Release version 1.10

This release consists of small features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

A summary of new features is provided below.

Support for non-hourly time steps: Added support for forcing data sets using non-hourly time steps.
Support for spaces and underscores: Added support for spaces and underscores in output point names.
Convergence and area outputs: Added model convergence and area outputs to default outputs.
Shapefile background layers: Enabled user upload of shapefile background layers.
Templates without open boundaries: Enabled uploading a template without open boundaries.

Large extractions: Improved support for extraction of data sets with long time periods.
Thin shoreline features in meshes: Improved support for including thin shoreline features in meshes.
Coordinate precision: Improved precision of coordinates of extracted data sets.
Full date range selection: Fixed bug causing extractions to fail if full date range selected.
