Getting started

It only takes a few steps to get started with the MB application and obtain one or more meshes. The process supported by the MB application is as follows:

  1. Login to the MIKE Cloud
  2. Select a project and add any files you may want to use, then select the MB app (see Creating folders and workspaces)
  3. Select an existing Workspace or create a new Workspace (see Defining a new Workspace and Using the Workspace)
  4. Create geometries or use them when you have imported them (see Geometries­)
  5. Modify your geometries, using available vector operations (see Geometry operations)
  6. Create variables if you don’t have any available from files (see Variables)
  7. Create one or more meshes by selecting data and control parameters, then interpolating them (see Generating meshes)
  8. Analyse meshes using quality measures (see Analysing and improving meshes)
  9. Apply post-meshing operations, such as refining or smoothing (see Mesh post-operations)
  10. Export meshes to Data Admin (see Exporting data) and download them for further use.
